Keep this party ROCKIN' !!!

Like the post said, yesterday was my birthday. I am now 27 years old... yikes. That means i have been out of Highschool for 10 years now! Well thats as depressed as im going to get on this post, now for the good stuff.

For my birthday from my Fiance' (that still sounds weird) i got the new Sirius Sportster Replay, Radio for my truck. Its the bomb!! I've wanted to get one for a while and now i have one and i just want to sit in my car all day and listen to music. I simply had to get one because the radio stations around Richmond (as most of the people know that live around here) Suck Big Fat Balls!!! So instead of listening to cds for 12 months out of the year, i can now listen to COMMERCIAL FREE radio and hear music that is actually new. NOT the crap that's on the radio that they "claim" is "Latest Hits From Your Favorite Bands", when all they play is the same old Linkin' Park, Kelly Clarkson, and Air Supply crap! Let me repeat this b/c all my friend will be stunned by this statment, I Love My Radio Now! Installing the radio was a snap and with in seconds of recieveing my signal from the heavens above the first song i was blessed with hearing was Dimmu Borgir, doing a cover of the old Twisted Sister song, "Burn In Hell"! Great song by the way and a "hell" of a way to start my subscription to Sirius.

I also went to Kabuto's Japanese Steakhouse for dinner, which my "wife-to-be" also paid for, for my birthday. Awesome dinner, great meal, an alright show... not as good as it could have been but it did end with a rather funny story. There was a group of 5 people sitting at our table about my age and they were playing a joke on one of their friends. They wanted the waitstaff to come out and sing Happy Birthday to him. As a joke now... it wasn't his birthday, but they ordered him a slice of cheesecake, and a show. Well they came out sang Happy Birthday to him, then left. After the singers were gone, they were all laughing about it not really being his birthday... so i spoke up and said "Well it actually is mine." they then laughed even harder and proceeded to give me the $9.00 slice of cheesecake they ordered him, for free. I got a free dinner, and a free slice of cheesecake from a group of complete strangers, plus Sirius Radio and some other gifts... It was a great birthday to say the least. Thanks!!
