What behind door # 1 Rod Roddy!!
Its...... A NEW CAR!!!!
Yes thats right, I FINALY got a new car. Anyone that knows me knows that i have been having nothing but problems with my car in recent weeks, but that is all over now (hopefully). I USED to have a 1997 Chevy Cavalier, it was a great car don't get me wrong. I bought it in 2000 i think and it only had about 3400 miles on it, but when i sold it there was well over 1ooK. So needless to say it was time for a new car. I now own a 2004 Ford Escape. Its fully loaded, power everything, sunroof, 4wd, and a 6disc cd changer. It had about 21K miles on it, which is not bad, and i got a hell of a deal on it. the MSRP is 25 thousand, and the sticker price was 19,995, they had it advertised for 16,995, and i talked the salesman down to 15250. Im really happy. I've wanted one of these for over a year now, and to finaly find one that i could afford and that had everything on it that i wanted was great. If you need to get a car i recommend going as soon as the dealership opens. They get you in and out quick, and usually will make a pretty good deal with you so they can start their day off with a sale. I can't tell you how happy i am now not to have to fall into my car every time i get in it. It is so much better to step into my car and be able to ride without feeling like my ass is dragging on the ground. I love my new car/truck. can't wait to make it mine with a few stickers on the back window.

I like the Football!!
I went and saw the movie "The Longest Yard" last night. I had heard a lot about the movie and everything that i heard was true. Yes the movie is very funny, Yes the movie has about a million cameo appearances, and Yes it is well worth the money to go see the movie. I like Adam Sandler anyway, but this is not the typical movie he has been doing recently. There is no love intrest in the movie so he is not constantly trying to get into any girls pants or make her fell better or anything, its about football.
Granted the football is in a prison, and there is a "rise above and atone for your sins" kinda story, but its actually good. They don't over do the story and try to make people feel to much for the people in the movie, except Chris Rock and Adam Sandler, the movie is a comedy and thats what it does best. The "action" is pretty good to. There were plenty of groaner moments in the movie, the ref moment is one of the worst. And don't forget the cameo appearances, by the likes of: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Brian Bosworth, Michael Irvin, Nelly, Burt Renyolds, Rob Schneider, and that one guy who was in that movie that was out last year. Yeah there are a lot of those people in that movie. Anyway point being, its worth it to go see the freaking movie. So just do it damn it!

Cartoons Cartoons!!
Am i the only one that finds it funny that Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck and those guys were crazy wacky bonk you on the head with a frying pan and run kinda cartoons, and pretty much ment for kids. And when you watch the cartoons that were made recently, they are all political or just simply made for adults. I mean you got WarnerBrothers toons, then you have like the Simpsons, Southpark, and the Adult Swim collection. Its kinda like when we were growing up cartoons were one way and instead of staying that way for the next generation they just kinda evolved with us. Anyone that has watched an episode of the Adult Swim has to have noticed that there is no way that any of those jokes are ment for kids. I mean i know there are still cartoons out there for kids, (pokemon and digimon, chimpokemon) but it seems like when i was growing up there weren't any cartoons for adults. I wonder what changed and what made people start doing adult cartoons... just wondering.
